You Can Arrive in an Instant

You Can Arrive in an Instant

"I wasted so much time", she said, "I can’t believe I’m 54."

I said, "It doesn’t matter if you’re 84. Count yourself lucky. Some people die without ever coming to terms with this kind of stuff."

The ignored issues, silenced voice, distant relationships.

Intimacy squashed.

It’s common to feel like you should’ve done something better back when you couldn’t.

This is a knee-jerk response to increased awareness.

But it’s void of compassion, kindness, and truth.

The day you become aware of all you’ve done and all you’ve missed, is the day to be happy for all you now understand.

You made it.

Celebrate.

Seeing your patterns is an achievement in itself.

A lot actually went into you arriving at the point where you can now see clearly.

-

Kind of like my time on the beach with the fox last week.

It felt like I had arrived in an instant even though a lot of prep work led up to being able to arrive at that instant, the one where I could photograph him in this way.

What a celebration time we had.

But that’s a whole other story!

Acknowledging patterns doesn’t have to be an arduous journey.

It can be fun.

Storytelling is a solid way to process your past, connect deeply with others, and plan for your future.

You’re built for story.

And it just so happens that my storytelling club starts two weeks from today.

In just one hour a month you’ll feel like you’ve arrived.

Crafting your technique, connecting with others, and processing your past.

You’re right on time.

***To join you must commit to all twelve meetings. One per month for the year.

Just twelve hours this year for big results.

Are you in?
