Good and Bad

One time a nuthatch flew into a window where I worked. It was stunned, but still alive.

I held it for a few hours while I worked, taking it outside often to test if it would fly again.

The last time I took it out, it flew away.

I felt sad that the nuthatch flew into a window and got hurt. At the same time I was happy to hold it in my hand for a few hours. And to think that it might live on for a good rest of its life.

I find lots of things in life have both ‘good’ and ‘bad’ parts to them.
